Staff Roles

• Purpose: System infrastructure, technical stability, branding, and long-term vision.

• Core Duties: Maintain bots and automations, approve server-wide changes, handle top-level safety escalations, and manage subscriptions.

• Not Responsible For: Routine chat moderation, daily engagement, handling standard tickets, or minor disputes.

• Escalates To: Discord Trust & Safety (Final internal escalation point).

• Purpose: Operations, staff management, high-risk moderation, and policy enforcement.

• Core Duties: Manage permissions and staff performance, handle Tier 3/4 violations (doxxing, leaks, ToS breaches), review ban appeals, and oversee bot workflows.

• Not Responsible For: Basic ticket handling, routine chat monitoring, or standard event hosting.

• Escalates To: Owner.

Purpose: Frontline moderation, chat flow, member engagement, and conflict de-escalation.

Core Duties: Enforce house rules, remove harmful content, resolve non-verification tickets in #help-desk, de-escalate tension, and document incidents in #mod-logs.

Not Responsible For: Age verification/ID reviews, permanent ban decisions, or backend bot maintenance.

Escalates To: Admin.

• Purpose: Age verification, access control, and keeping minors/fake profiles out.

• Core Duties: Authenticate selfies, IDs, and timestamps; spot AI fakes or alt accounts; grant/deny entry; enforce privacy standards 

• Not Responsible For: General chat moderation, event support, ticket resolution outside verification, or banning accounts.

• Escalates To: Admin (Notifies Hosts if users cause disruption in entry channels).

• Purpose: Entry-level support, learning server systems, and assisting frontline staff.

• Core Duties: Welcome new members, maintain active conversation, answer common questions, keep channels tidy, and report rule breaks.

• Not Responsible For: Independent ticket resolution, age verification, issuing punishments, or high-risk moderation.

• Escalates To: Host for chat issues; Admin for high-risk safety concerns.

Purpose: Engagement, community events, prompts, and server activity.

Core Duties: Plan and run weekly challenges, host minigames, create daily prompts (#qotd, #polls), coordinate giveaways, and gather feedback.

Not Responsible For: Moderation, age verification, or handling member disputes.

Escalates To: Host for moderation during events; Admin for rewards or structural approvals.

Purpose: Managing external relationships, cross-promotions, and brand integrity.

Core Duties: Evaluate partner requests, communicate with external staff, draft partner announcements, and maintain active partner records.

Not Responsible For: Internal server moderation, age verification, or technical configurations.

Escalates To: Admin.
